The Boyfriend line is really trendy and designed with an 80's flair.  According to Cosmo it's for "that, mysterious, misunderstood, slightly moody male that wanders back and forth from the fridge to the couch. The Boyfriend™ celebrates his world with sports, school, music and soda pop."  You'll find the papers really versatile and suitable for boy and male themed layouts and cards and at this time of the year they're absolutely perfect for Back to School/College layouts and teacher's cards.

Jolly by Golly is Cosmo's line for Christmas 2009 and it's loads of fun.  It's got the traditional colours of Red and Green in it's colour palette but also loads of pinks and blues too.

If you're stuck for ideas on how to use all of the latest Cosmo Collections, why not take a look at Debbie Olson's blog.  Debbie is one of the Cosmo Cricket Design Team and her cards are some of the best I've ever seen.  She's brilliant with Copic Markers too and shares loads of ideas on her blog which you might enjoy and find useful.  Here are some of Debbie's designs:

Party Invitations using Free Vintage Images & Fonts!

Spent a day putting together some party invitations for a special lady who's 70 tomorrow.  She's having her party at the weekend and I thought she really deserved something special!

I used some C5 white cards, Colorcore Cardstock, white Bazzill and the last of the beautiful Prima Morning Song, Happy Go Lucky paper which I had in the shop.

Invitations 2

The vintage image on the front is from a great website called Sensibility.com and the Vogue vintage patterns from the 1950's are here.

Inside the card I printed the details of the party with a brilliant quote I got free from Quote Garden:

" The man who doesn't relax and hoot a few hoots voluntarily, now and then,

is in great danger of hooting hoots and standing on his head

for the edification of the pathologist and trained nurse, a little later on."  ~ Elbert Hubbard

The font is called Harlow Solid Italic and it's available from some of the free and commercial font sites although you might already have it on your computer.

Here's a close up:
