I met Tim Holtz at the weekend !!!

Well, I'm just back from a brilliant weekend at Stitches Trade Show in the Birmingham NEC. This year I was lucky enough to get a place on the much sought after Tim Holtz Workshop and boy was I starstruck (sad I know!!). He did a fantastic class on Saturday using the new Ranger Paint Dabbers and showed everyone six different ways to use the dabbers to create different looks and effects. I thoroughly enjoyed it and even got my picture taken with him after the class. I'll upload it as soon as I get it developed (how last century is that?)

I met up with Mireille and KateG from www.crafteire.com and we had lunch and endless cups of tea between workshops. Thanks for the great company ladies, it really made the day fly by. I also met Beckie who was thoroughly enjoying herself working away for Scrapgenie and I got to see IRL some of the gorgeous designs she has created as part of their design team.

On Sunday the exhibition opened and all of the manufacturers and wholesale companies got a chance to show us all the fab new stuff which was released at CHA 2007 last month. I bought loads of gorgeous stash for the shop including the new paper ranges from Crate Paper:

Samantha

Brunch

Baby Bee

Cosmo Cricket, Doodlebug, Daisy D's, Karen Foster and DCWAV. I also bought some gorgeous new Prima Daisies, Heidi Swapp Bling, Creative Imaginations Chipboard alphabets, Making Memories embellishments and loads more.

As soon as I know when they're arriving I'll upload them to the shop. I think most of the stuff is due to arrive at the end of the month and the rest of it by mid-March. Don't forget, if there's anything you'd like me to stock just drop me an email to info@thescrapbookstore.ie and I'll see if I can get it in for you.

Bye for now.

NEW RELEASES AT CHA WINTER 2007

This weekend is a very important one in the Scrapbooking calendar because the CHA Winter 2007 is being held in Anaheim, California.

Each year at the Winter show the world's top Scrapbooking manufacturers premiere their new product ranges which will see us through the months ahead. It's also a chance for new companies to showcase their products, and each year without fail a new name causes a stir at the show!

Basic Grey is one of my favourite companies and I was especially interested to see what they'd come up with. Today they released 4 new paper ranges: Perhaps, Stella Ruby, Scarlet's Letter and Phoebe - all totally different and all gorgeous! If you want to have a look at the new ranges just check out our forum or log on to www.basicgrey.com

They'll all be in stock at www.thescrapbookstore.ie by the middle of February so watch out for them. Let us know what you think of the new designs.
